Spirulina Cultivation Training (India)
The Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute will be offering a one-week training programme on ‘Spirulina Cultivation Training and Value Added Products’ from August 1 to 5 for the benefit of the MSMEs in India.
K. Kandasamy, Assistant Director of MSME announced that the Development Institute will offer a training that will cover cover introduction to algae, functions of spirulina, spirulina culture and production, harvest and post-harvest technology, innovative national and international marketing.
Value added Spirulina products
Value added products are:
- spirulina tablet,
- juice and appalam,
- spirulina cake,
And also, spirulina processing, liquid weed fertilizer and natural color extraction.
During the training a special attention will be brought to product quality. The training in “spirulina cultivation and value-added products” will provide ample opportunities for self-employment, jobs in MSMEs, multinational corporations, private limited companies and corporate companies as technician and adviser.
Certificates in Spirulina Cultivation
The trainees would be issued the Government of India certificates on completion of training in spirulina cultivation.
